Celebrating 140 Years of Legacy through the Beauty of Japanese Tradition

We planned and produced the 140th Anniversary Celebration for a Denmark-based global shipping company, held at the elegant Happo-en in Tokyo.
Welcoming around 150 guests from Japan and abroad, we designed an evening that beautifully blended Japanese tradition with international sophistication.

Guests were greeted by Geisha-look ladies and treated to live Koto performances and a powerful Taiko drumming show, immersing them in authentic Japanese culture from the very start.
To create a memorable interactive element, Danish floral artist Nicolai Bergmann presented a “Flower Bar,” where guests crafted their own flower boxes to take home as unique gifts.

The venue was adorned with custom décor, including our LED cocktail tables printed with the anniversary logo, and illuminated with warm, refined lighting to match the celebratory tone.
Even when an unexpected change in weather occurred, the team responded swiftly—transforming the planned outdoor cocktail reception into an elegant indoor setup within minutes.

The celebration successfully embodied the spirit of omotenashi—a perfect harmony of tradition, creativity, and hospitality—leaving every guest with an unforgettable impression of this milestone moment in the client’s history.
